Research Centres
IIFA is currently associated with 13 research centres , recognized by the Foundation for Science and Technology ( FCT ) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education. These Research Centres encompass all existing scientific areas at the University of Évora - Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, Sciences and Technology. There are approximately 370 PhD researchers and 270 collaborating researchers associated with these R&D units. It should be noted that these R&D units also integrate PhD and post-doctoral researchers from other well known national / international teams, promoting international dissemination and exchange of knowledge through exchange and sharing of scientific and technological productions.
These research centres are involved in numerous scientific and technological development projects with a wide scope of research, integrated in the scientific areas, within the organizational structure of the University of Évora.
