QuerCom: Environmental controls of community structure and ecosystem function: an assessment with cork oak (Quercus suber) communities in the Iberian Peninsula
Admission requirements
PhD in Ecology or related area. English as a first or second language is required. Essential skills are:
- Excellent statistical programming skills in R or equivalent
- GIS
- Clear spoken and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge and demonstrated expertise in species distribution ecology and/or community ecology.
Experience of working with one or more of the following is also required: species distribution modelling, community distribution modelling, functional traits, ecosystem services, biological invasions, landscape ecology, biogeographical analyses. A strength in collaborative and interdisciplinary research is highly desirable. Previous experience working with plants would be an advantage.
