POCITYF
First newsletter is out

The first newsletter of the POCITYF project is out. POCITYF – A POsitive Energy CITY Transformation Framework is a smart-cities project, with EU funding, through the Horizon 2020 program (grant nr. 864400), which started seven months ago, with 46 partners from 13 countries gathered in Évora to kick-off the project.

This first newsletter highlights an interview with José Miguel Costa, the POCITYF’s coordinator, where are explained the challenges faced by cities with heritage sites during the renewable energy transition. An introduction to Évora, “the natural beauty and monumental richness condensed in one city”, and Alkmaar, “the innovation in a historic scene”, the two Lighthouse cities of the project is another highlight, as the Workshop P2P Energy Platforms, that will take place in Brno, 2nd and 3rd September.

The newsletter can be subscribed by filling the form here.
