Established at the end of june 2021, Chair in Aerospace Science and Technology has the mission to support the implementation of bachelor and master study cycles in aeronautical engineering, to collaborate in the development of new manned and unmanned aircraft projects, reinforcing the participation of the aeronautical industry of the Évora region in the respective production, in order to increase the sustainability of the local and regional economy.

The University of Évora seeks, in this way, to ensure that companies that are establishing themselves in the region have a visible contribution with regard to research and innovation in the aeronautics sector, valuing and enhancing the knowledge generated in the academy.
